Melati, 18, has been fighting for six years against the plastic pollution that afflicts her country, Indonesia. Like her, a generation is rising to mend the world. Everywhere, teenagers and young adults are fighting for human rights, climate, freedom of speech, social justice, access to education or food. Dignity. Alone, against all odds, sometimes risking their life and safety, they protect, condemn and care for others. The country. And they change everything. Melati goes to meet them all over the world. At a time when everything seems to collapse, these young people show us how to live. And what it means to be in the world today.
