Abdul, Shahana and Ahmed are some of the thousands of cubans who decided to convert themselves to Islam.
Observing their daily life: work, prayer and family, it emerges the spiritual and social dimensions of three lives. Their choice represents not only an existential redemption, but also an opportunity to share a common space of worship like the Old Havana Mosque, created four years ago by Saudi Arabia and attended by the whole muslim community

Marzia Rumi
Marzia Rumi (Rome, 1992) graduated in Performing Arts and Science of Entertainment at ‘‘La Sapienza’’ University. She, then moved first to Madrid, to work in a documentary production company and attend a Master in Creative Documentary and Experimental Cinema, then to Havana, where she studied Film Production at EICTV and collaborated with the Festival Internacional del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano.
