The last triangle of habitable space at the mouth of the Tiber: the people who live there call it Punta Sacra.
The film recounts the life of the community of Idroscalo di Ostia, today composed of 500 families. Above all, that of Franca, head of a completely female family, narrator and driving force behind the stories that make that strip of land come alive. A tale between realism and projections into the imaginary, between nostalgia and inevitable pragmatism. And one desire above all: to be able to continue living in that place, which for them is home.
