The Walking Forest tells the story of an extraordinary art project, Bosk. For 100 days, 1000 trees moved through the city centre of Leeuwarden, NL, creating an urban oasis, allowing people to connect with nature like never before. The film explores how collective effort can transform a city, its citizens, and the environment into a more sustainable world.

Rose Casella’s most recent work includes a Netflix Original Documentary series, ‘Human Playground’ (a series about unusual sports worldwide) and ‘The Walking Forest’ (a short environmental documentary). Previous documentaries include:’ Bor the Documentary’- a true story about a young man with a rare skin disease aired on Dutch TV Networks and nominated by DOCS MX, ‘The Apricot Tree’ – selected for Raindance, POFF shorts, Indie Flicks and Fastnet and God Glitch’ a short sci-fi film winner of Best Film prize at the GoShort 48 hour Nijmegen and selected for Film Quest USA.
Floris Leeuwenberg has produced and directed over 15 films, commercials and advertorials. Some recent films include’ The Walking Forest’, an environmental documentary, ‘Foli’ (over 36 million YouTube views), a film about rhythm in Guinea, Africa,’ Falcon Hunting’ for the Emir of Qatar, in the Sahara, producing and directing ‘Bor the Documentary’, a true story about a young man with a rare disease aired on Dutch TV Networks and nominated by DOCS MX,’ High Cuisine’ a brand and culinary 4 part TV series aired on Dutch TV Networks and soon to be released internationally.
