The festival will be opened by Cristina Berlini and Sandra Innamorato, flanked by Elisabetta Galgani who will moderate the guests’ speeches: Taisir Masrieh Hasbun will illustrate her exhibition “The Palestinian Thoub: Identity in Embroidery”, which will be held in Rome from 6 to 30 November at the Villa Alfieri Museum. There will be a screening of Tabea Kerschbaumer‘s photographic project, 48 Stitches, with images and testimonies of young Palestinian women. Luisa Morgantini, president of the AssePace Palestine association, will also contribute. Cinzia Biondi, from the Iride association, will read a poem by Palestinian writer Ziadah Rafeef,
This will be followed by a short speech by Franco Bianca, head of Amnesty International in Massa Marittima. Councillor Irene Marconi will bring the institutional greetings.

The members of the jury, Nadia Pizzuti and Aline Hervè, will announce the winning films of the fifth edition of DocuDonna, reading the reasons. The presentation of the three prizes will be held by Ambra Fontani, president of the Commission for Equal Opportunities of the Municipality of Massa Marittima.
