After graduating in Film Studies at the University of Naples L’Orientale, with a dissertation on the director Stephen Frears and the British Film Renaissance, he has organized and directed several festivals, among which A Corto di Donne, International Women’s Short Film Festival.
Since 1991 he has been running the weekly Art-house Film Club of Cinema La Perla in Naples, where he periodically hosts Q&A with directors and previews of new films. Since 2013 he has been organizing La Grande Abbuffata, food & wine short film festival. He contributes, with different roles, to Cinematica, immagine in movimento (Ancona), Ischia Film Festival and Napoli Film Festival.
Since 2018 he is the co-artistic director of the Edera Film Festival (Treviso), an event for under 35 directors. He promotes Cinemagma, independent film festival, at Teatro Sala Molière in Pozzuoli (Naples). He has participated, writing an essay on “The landscape in Massimo Troisi’s films”, to the collective book “Le vie di Troisi sono infinite”.
