Teresa Paoli is a director and a journalist. Her first documentary, on the G8 Summit in Genoa of 2001, “Genova senza Risposte“, had its theatrical release in 2002. In 2004 she won the Fulbright scholarship and went to live and study in Los Angeles. Here she shot “100PerCent“, in competition at Torino Film Festival.
In 2011 she won the Ilaria Alpi Award in the documentary category with Di Tessuti e di altre storie.
Her documentary project Chinese or Italian was selected for the pitch category at Dig Awards 2016, before being produced by Upian and Arte France and broadcasted in France, Poland and Germany.
Her last short “Da Lassù“, produced by Solaria Film and Antonio Capaldo was selected at Giffoni Film Festival 2018.
